180 DESIGNS WAS BORN
In 2011, One Eighty Designs was born in the most quintessential startup fashion—right in a garage in Stanton, Michigan. Fueled by creativity, determination, and a dream, the garage wasn’t just a workspace; it was the cradle of innovation where big ideas began to take shape. This year marked the start of a journey that would soon transform One Eighty Designs from a small-town project into a brand known for its quality and vision.
TAKING THE FIRST BIG LEAP
By 2012, One Eighty Designs had outgrown the garage and took an exciting step forward by renting their very first commercial space. This milestone wasn’t just about square footage—it was about building momentum. That same year, they welcomed their first two employees, Dustin and later Seth, who brought fresh energy and expertise to the team. With a dedicated space and a growing crew, the foundation for future success was firmly in place.
PURCHASED 180 HQ
In 2014, One Eighty Designs took a monumental step by purchasing their "forever" location in Carson City, Michigan. This wasn’t just a move—it was a statement of growth, stability, and commitment to their vision. The new space became a hub of creativity and collaboration, serving as the perfect backdrop for their expanding team and bold ideas. It marked the start of a new chapter, with roots firmly planted in the heart of Carson City.
NEW AND FOREVER 180 LOGO
In 2015, One Eighty Designs unveiled a fresh new logo that would become the face of their brand for years to come. This wasn’t just a design update; it was a symbol of their growth, vision, and commitment to innovation. The new logo captured the essence of who they were and what they stood for—a perfect blend of creativity, professionalism, and forward-thinking energy. It became a proud emblem of their journey and everything they aspired to achieve.
HEY NEIGHBORS, WE NEED YOUR BUIDING
By 2016, One Eighty Designs was growing so fast they needed even more room to bring their ideas to life. That year, they purchased the old leather shop right across the street from their main location. This expansion wasn’t just about space—it was about dreaming bigger and preparing for the future. The additional facility allowed the team to enhance their operations and take on even more exciting projects, cementing their presence in Carson City.
ADDED ON TO OUR SHOWROOM
In 2018, One Eighty Designs took their customer experience to the next level by expanding their showroom at headquarters. This upgrade wasn’t just about creating more space—it was about crafting an inviting environment where clients could truly immerse themselves in the company’s craftsmanship and creative process. The enhanced showroom became a place to spark ideas, inspire collaboration, and proudly display the work that made One Eighty Designs stand out.
OUR MAJOR EXPANSION
By 2022, One Eighty Designs had grown to such incredible heights that they undertook a major expansion of their headquarters—pushing the space to its absolute limit. This expansion was a testament to their remarkable journey and the growing demand for their creativity and expertise. It was a bold move that solidified their HQ as the ultimate hub of innovation and collaboration. At this point, it became clear—they’d made the most of this location, setting the stage for even bigger possibilities in the future.
